About Me

 I am Shadow La Fuente. Former staff of an independent wrestling promotion from California. I have worked alongside some of wrestling's greats like Bryan Danielson (then known as American Dragon), Samoa Joe, Vic Grimes and many more. I started as a photographer and worked my way up till I found myself in the locker room discussing in ring promos with talent from around the world. I have always had a love for professional wrestling so this was a dream come true. I went to my first independent wrestling show in 2001 with the purpose of becoming apart of the wrestling business, and I made that happen. I've watched wrestlers I worked with become the most successful people we watch on tv today. I am truly grateful for the mentors who showed me the way and taught me the knowledge that can only be learned from behind the curtain.

Since leaving the industry many years ago to pursue a life in entertainment, my passion for the business has never left me and has only grown stronger. I have frequented many independent wrestling promotions here in California and reunited with old friends along the way who have re ignited my passion for wrestling. So much so I have questioned my career choices and what makes me the most happy in life which brings me here to this blog and social media.

My "from behind the curtain" knowledge has given me a different perspective with my opinions and my take on professional wrestling today. So through videos, pictures and written conversations I will share my positive and sometimes humorous outlook on everything that is professional wrestling.
